We now only take camp bookings via the web. This is in order to reduce the time spent processing bookings

Booking via the website means that you no longer have to complete a paper form for each camp. However, some of the information that is needed, such as Insurance details and dietary needs, is not suitable to be collected over the site. For this reason the annual consent form has been amended so that we collect this information once per annum to cover all camps.

The new annual form can be downloaded using the link at the foot of these notes and once completed should be signed and posted to Pauline Fail at

We have tried to provide as much data for each camp as we can, such as flight details and accomodation. We hope, for instance, that this will help you to book tickets if you want to go out to a camp and be on the same flights as your child.

There are also comment fields available at the end of the booking process so you can let us know any additional relevant information such as, for instance, whether you will also be staying in the resort at the same time and if so where, or if you intend to take your child back from the camp early on your own.

Please note that we are only assisiting as an intermediary in making camp bookings. We are not acting as a travel agency and of course are not registered with ATOL or any other body.

Once you have made your booking, please either send a cheque for the non-refundable deposit (specified for each camp individually) to Pauline Fail, or transfer the money electronically to our bank, details of which will be included in your confirmation e-mail. Please also e-mail Accounts@spsrc.org.uk to let us know when you have made payment, always quoting your invoice number.

Lastly, not all camps are suitable for all trainees. If you are not sure please discuss with Kevin Blanks or John Harris.
